Well done to all 700+ players who took part at Melton Mowbray. The weekend enjoyed warm weather, a party atmosphere with a great variety of food and drink and delicious ice creams. Competitions were hard-fought as always, with London taking an early lead and proving unbeatable in Division 1.
Two long and intense days of play, but great to have all the regions back together again. Many thanks to all of the dozens of volunteers whose hard work and dedication made the weekend a success. We can’t list all of you, but special mentions to Baz Wing, Mike Cubitt, John Edmondson, David Baxter, Stone Williams, all the umpires and, of course, Adrian Thomas and Steve Snudden.
