There’s been a number of our members who have paid for competition entries via our LoveAdmin system. Because of refund limits linked to Paypal, we are taking steps now to refund everybody that has paid for both our Home Nations Qualifier (3rd May 2020) and our National Titles Weekend (23rd to 25th May 2020). Please bear with us while that is actioned and if you don’t receive a refund within the next week or so, please do get in touch with David Baxter via admin@petanque-england.uk
As we have already indicated, all national competitions are currently suspended and unfortunately we can give no certainty as to when we will be able to lift that suspension. Our advice to our members who currently may have bookings associated with events taking place from now until the end of May is that they should look at the conditions associated with such bookings and seek refunds before any relevant cut off date.
We regret any loss of monies associated with any bookings that are not refundable, although we hope that hotel/accommodation providers will be reasonable given the exceptional situation faced.
The PE Board is meeting via teleconference on 28th March and we will update further at that point.
