Congratulations to our Juniors for achieving their white Awards, which were presented at our club night on Monday. The photo is of the juniors receiving their certificate and medal (from left to right: Isabelle, Jayden, and Ayva).
They were all delighted. As you know Ayva has been playing for some time but Isabelle and Jayden have been playing for about six months as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. They have progressed well and are keen to continue so they will all probably be taking their green award in the near future.
The White Award is the first of four awards leading to the Blue which is very challenging. The awards provide a route for young players and coaches taking them to a high technical standard of petanque expertise.
