Gravesend petanque 2019

With brand new President Clive de Silva in place and new directors joining the PE Board, we’re launching a wide-ranging consultation of our members.

Although the current COVID-19 epidemic is severely restricting play and our activities, we’re looking forward to happier times when we can all be out on the pitch. While we look forward to that you can help the Board think about our priorities and also how we spend and raise money.

We’re creating the chance for our members to give us their views as we work towards our plans and budgets for 2021 and beyond.

There are two ways in which you can give us your views.

The first is to look at this document which sets out some key information and issues which we need to consider. The best way to respond to this is to send us your thoughts and views by email.

Please don’t feel that you have to send a lengthy response which attempts to cover every single issue. Even if you have one idea or suggestion on one of the areas we have outlined, we’d welcome your input. You can also tell us as much as you like if you want to cover a number of things which you think need to be considered. It’s really up to you!

If you like to give us your views by responding to a more structured survey, we’ve created a second easy way of doing it online. Just visit our online survey and start clicking! We’ve given you some space in the survey as well to add anything you want.

We’re hoping that as many of our members as possible take the opportunity to get involved. We will look at every single response and at the end of the process the Board will set out its responses to the feedback received.

Our sport is at its strongest when it has maximum participation from our members, both in terms of playing and also inputting into how we organise the sport as a whole. We very much look forward to hearing from you!
