A group of Midlands juniors gathered together at Hampton in Arden for a day of coaching under the tutelage of Brian Stote and as posse of coaches from that area. The juniors were from Heart of England, Mercia, Central, Chiltern and a stray from Southern.
The weather was threatening, chill winds, rain, hail – but no snow! As the day progressed it got better – a little bit better.
Brian set up a number of sections testing the skills the youngsters will need in competition; the laughter was raucous during the 4m game – ask me later! Then a series of conditioned games, good fun and good learning.
At the end of the day Cole from Ravenshead was awarded his White Award,
all the juniors received a certificate of participation,
and those who will represent PE over the next few months received their shirts. They are Alex (Mercia), Charlie (Heart of England), Alex (GWR), Ayva (Heart of England), Nathan (Chiltern)
