The Petanque England coaching licence is an ID card issued after a DBS check, valid for three years. It includes the coach’s photo, membership number, and DBS certificate details.
All coaches must follow PE's Codes of Conduct and safeguarding policies. They are expected to promote high standards and good practice in the sport.
To renew the licence after three years, coaches must show they are still active by submitting Coaching Report Forms via their Regional Coaching Coordinator.
It is the policy and requirement of our Insurers that all coaches and persons dealing with junior and vulnerable members are screened by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The cost of the DBS checks is currently £20 and is payable by the individual after we have processed their application.
