Our Senior England Women compete in international competitions at World level (organised by FIPJP) and at European level (organised by CEP).
Currently the cycle is that in odd numbered years, our Senior Women play in the World Triples Championships and also the World Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. In even numbered years, they play in the European Triples Championships and the European Singles Championship.
PE uses a system of Squad Selection Events to find our representatives for international competitions. More info on these events can be found on the National Rankings (SSE) page.
All PE license holders can compete in our National Rankings Competitions, but international rules restrict our representation to UK nationals only.
Team selections will be announced on this page once finalised.

Founded in 2017, "Women in Pétanque" is a member-driven programme spearheaded by female PE participants dedicated to making the sport accessible to women across all age groups. The group disseminates updates, distributes information and champions pétanque nationwide.
In 2019, WIP introduced a series of successful International Women's Day (IWD) Doubles tournaments across PE's regional centres, culminating in the first-ever National IWD Championship at Oxshott PC.
The National IWD Women's Doubles Championship has become a yearly fixture at rotating venues, with regional IWD qualifiers determining team entry. PE expanded the format in 2022 by adding a National IWD Triples event, creating a full weekend of women's tournaments.
