Our Umpires

Umpires are an integral part of our competition organisation and are the guarantors of the rules of the sport of Petanque.

Umpiring is a tough job, but is rewarding to individuals who have a love of petanque, appreciation for the rules, and a passion for fairness and sound judgement.

Our umpires are rigorously trained, operating to highly exacting standards.  They officiate at all the major pétanque tournaments in England and abroad.
