We are pleased to announce that the 2027 PE Calendar is now ready to publish. All PE Events have been confirmed and venues allocated and confirmed. I will be contacting all venues again over the next few weeks to introduce myself.
Some information on the Calendar: you will see some new venues and some old ones; some north of London, some south, some west, and hopefully by 2028, some east. The plan will be to move events around, so if it is in the north of London this year, it may be in one of the other areas next year.
We have also tried to avoid other known large events. This has been done so that you, our players and members, do not have to choose which large event to attend. We will be working closely with other parties when we start next year’s Calendar.
You will also see some small changes in wording around International Qualifying Events. This has been done to reflect our current and proposed events. These will also be full weekend events, not two separate one-day competitions.
Our work continues during the winter, as we are reviewing all PE Competition Rules and all formats used for events. Our plan is to complete this work by the end of January 2027.
There will be no shooting competition for senior players during 2027. It is our ambition, and part of our planning for 2028, to hold an Open Shooting Event. As you will understand, this needs to be planned correctly to allow it to happen properly.
