Congratulations to Matthew and Axel for put on a great display at the Arundel open triples last weekend.
Matthew & Axel got to the gold semi final where they fell to the eventual winners, the London first team.
Matthew teamed up with Axel and Axel’s Dad David and swept through the morning session unbeaten with the best points difference of all – and no, they did not have an easy draw!
Quarter finals they faced Gay from Bath and her two London lads and came through comfortably, finally bowing out in the semi’s.
David marshalled the boy’s brilliantly, Axel pointing well and Matthew shooting. They both learnt a lot.
A really good display of competitive petanque. Congratulations boys from the Petanque England junior team.
